Terms
Hashly publishes an index of proof-of-work projects and the pools that mine them. Using the site means accepting what follows.
Who runs this
Hashly. Anything in these terms — a correction, a complaint, a request about your data — reaches us at [email protected].
What the figures are
Every number here is maintained by hand. Hashrates, fees, reward schemes, uptimes and miner counts are entered by us from public sources and are not read live from any chain or pool API. They can be out of date, and they can be wrong.
Two things are derived rather than entered, and behave accordingly: a pool’s share of a project is computed from the two hashrates, and a 24-hour trend is read off the history we have stored. Where either cannot honestly be worked out, the site prints “—” rather than a number.
None of this is financial or investment advice, and it is not a recommendation to mine anything. Check the project’s and the pool’s own documentation before you point hardware or money at either.
Featured placements
Some rows are paid placements. A paid row sits at the top of its list, carries a coloured border and is labelled — the label is the disclosure, and it is never omitted. A placement is bought for a fixed number of days and ends on its own.
Buying a placement does not buy a better hashrate figure, a different share, a favourable description or removal of a competitor. It buys position, and nothing else. A featured row is not an endorsement, a ranking, a recommendation or a claim that the pool or project is better than the ones below it.
Links out
The catalog links to project sites, block explorers, pool dashboards and chat servers we do not run. We do not control them, we do not vouch for them, and a link is not an endorsement. Verify a stratum address against the pool’s own documentation before using it — the endpoints shown here are illustrative.
Using the site
Please do not:
- extract the catalog in bulk — scraping, crawling for content, or any automated harvesting of the listings;
- probe, disrupt or attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits or any other control on the service;
- republish the catalog as your own, or pass our figures off as measurements.
Quoting a figure with a link back to the page it came from is fine, and welcome. Access may be withdrawn from anyone doing the things above.
What we do not promise
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available, uninterrupted or free of errors, and we are not liable for what you do on the basis of what you read here. Mining and holding cryptoassets carry risk, including total loss; that risk is yours.
Your data
There are no visitor accounts and nothing to sign up for. What we record when you browse — and what we set in your browser — is described in full on the cookies page.
Corrections
If a figure about your project or pool is wrong, write to [email protected] and we will fix or remove it. We would rather hold nothing than hold something false.
Changes
These terms change when the site does. The date at the top is the last substantive change; continuing to use the site after one means accepting it.
